About the Practice

Utah Orthopaedics provides complete musculoskeletal care featuring fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeons, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and on-site Physical Therapy.

Again, our Physicians are all Fellowship trained which is at least one year of extra sub-specialty training following residency. We can provide services that range from the basic to the most difficult "hard to treat" Orthopedic procedures. Our Specialties include :

Sports Medicine & Arthroscopy from Dr Dann Byck. Dr. Byck is a Master Instructor for the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA) and leading educator in his field. He studied and trained under the guidance of Drs. Buddy Savoie, Larry Field, Walter Shelton, and Gene Barrett at the Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Center. All who are considered amongst the world's best in the field of Sports Medicine, Arthroscopic and Reconstructive surgery.

Foot & Ankle Conditions and Care from Dr. Jeffrey Rocco. Dr. Rocco completed a prestigious fellowship at the Michigan International Foot and Ankle Center under the world renowned Arthur Manoli II, MD. Dr. Rocco perfected many of the procedures and treatments that he utilizes today that are very unique to our area. He is the leader in Total Foot & Ankle reconstruction as well as minimally invasive options to correct pain. Dr. Rocco is on the Research and Review Board for First Endurance Sports Nutrition and is a master fitter of ski boots, shoes, and custom orthotics. Dr. Rocco also performs the latest in Hip and Knee Joint Replacements procedures including DAA (Direct Anterior Approach- for the Hip) which allows for virtually no restrictions after surgery. He also performs complex revision surgeries.

Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (Neck and Low Back Pain) from Dr. Francis Yubero. Dr. Yubero completed his Spine Fellowship at Baylor/ UTHSC at the Texas Medical Center in Houston. He specializes in diagnosis and non-operative treatment of joint and spine conditions as well as Sports Medicine Injuries. Dr. Yubero's Spine and Head Sports Medicine extends to concussion prevention and treatment. He also performs Electrodiagnostic (EMG/ NCV) and sees many injuries of the neck and low back.
